Of everything revealed, I want to talk about the following things:
- The game is done from nothing, with the actual LEGO video games style
- You'll be able to play the 9 movie in any order. For example, you can play Episode II, then Episode IX and end with Episode IV.
- It'll have many hub worlds, based on the different planets in the movies, where you'll be able to do main and side quests. You'll also be able to travel thru space to access the different planets.
- It'll have the biggest Star Wars character roster, counting with a roster with more than 200 characters.
- This game will have a redesigned combat, with new force abilities, new camera shots while fighting and character combos.
Besides everything mentioned above, there are two things I want to go further in details, because they are too important to the game.
1. Voices / Mumbling
Probably you remember the first LEGO Star Wars game (first LEGO game ever), where the charters don't talk and everything was mumbling. It looks like fans are asking for that to return, to generate nostalgia. The response of TT Games was that they will try to put it as a game option, without promising anything. Previously, they had already confirmed the game will have dialogues, that will be completely new. That means that they will not be taken from the movies. Probably this ends like a game option, where you get to choose if you want voices or not.
2. Levels
I'm about to answer the question everyone was asking. How many levels will have a game with NINE entire movies? As I mentioned before, this will be the biggest LEGO game up to date. Despite knowing that, I didn't expect it to be AS BIG as it is.
The game will have 5 LEVELS FOR EACH MOVIE, in other words, there will be 45 LEVELS IN TOTAL!!! Yes, as you heard. Each level will last around 10-15 minutes, and will focus in the most important parts of each of the nine movies. We were used to get games with 10 to 20 levels, not something this big . . . 😳
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be available in 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC.
